Phoenix Mall Lottery 30 years of Memories
- The lottery is being organized by Ascencia Limited, a company with Business Registration Number C07072304 and having its registered office situated at ENL House, Vivéa Business Park, Moka (“Ascencia”).
- The lottery has been duly approved by the Gambling Regulatory Authority (the “GRA”) in accordance with the provisions of Part XVII of the Gambling Regulatory Authority Act 2007 (the “GRA Act”).
- The lottery period will start on 1st May 2025 at 8:30 AM, and end on May 30th, 2025, at Mall Trading Hours the “Lottery Campaign Period”).
- Only citizens of Mauritius are eligible to participate in the lottery.
- Participants must be 18 years or older.
- Employees of EnAtt Ltd (the asset, property and development manager of the Malls), Formation Recrutement et Conseil Informatique Ltee and Tagada Ltd cannot participate in the lottery.
- Participants must spend a minimum of Rs. 1,000 (including VAT) at any participating shop, restaurant or kiosk at Phoenix Mall and scan the dedicated QR code for the week.
- Participants cannot combine receipt(s) for amounts less than Rs. 1,000 to create one entry. For example, two receipts of Rs. 500 each cannot be combined to create a receipt of Rs. 1,000.
- The remaining amount above any multiple of Rs 1,000 on a receipt cannot be carried forward. For example, a receive of Rs 2,700 will entitle the holder of two (2) lottery tickets and the remaining amount of Rs 700 will be forfeited.
- Purchases made at Lavoto/Hyprowash Phoenix are expressly excluded from the Lottery.
- Participants need to have the relevant receipt(s) obtained following a purchase validated by the cashier of any participating shop, restaurant or kiosk during trading hours.
- Participants must then register online to obtain a lottery ticket. Registration can only be made by participants scanning the QR code to open a web page and inserting the personal information such as their name, national identity card, telephone number, email address.
- Participants will also need to upload a picture of the validated receipt(s) obtained following a purchase and enter the exact receipt amount. The amount entered must match the amount set out on the picture of the receipt. The picture must be clear and easily readable.
- After having successfully registered online, participants will receive their lottery ticket(s) by email within 24 hours.
- The same receipt cannot be used for multiple entries. Once a receipt has been registered, any further entries using that receipt shall be null and void.
- Entries are considered final, and any inaccurate or misleading information may lead to disqualification at any stage of the drawing process.
- By participating in the lottery, each participant consents to the processing of his/her personal data in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Data Protection Act 2017 and Ascencia Privacy Policy, which is available for public consultation using the following hyperlink:

- Draws will take place weekly at the premises of the Mauritius Turf Club under the supervision of officers of the GRA by MTC.
- Each week, the winners and the gifts won will be announced. The winner may not necessarily receive the prize on the same day they participated.
- Winners will be contacted by SMS and e-mail, within two (2) days of the date of the draw.
- Winning numbers will be posted on the Phoenix Malls’ Facebook pages and published in two (2) local newspapers. Prior to completing an acknowledgment form, winners will be required to give their consent
- Prizes cannot be exchanged, whether for cash or otherwise.
- Winners can collect their prize at Phoenix Mall. Winners must bring along their National Identity Card or Passport and a written copy of their lottery ticket(s) or mandate a representative to collect their prize on their behalf. The representative should provide a copy of the winner’s National Identity Card or Passport, his/her own National Identity Card or Passport, a letter duly signed by the winner mandating the representative to collect their prize on his/her behalf and a written copy of the winner’s lottery ticket(s).
- Winners will have a period of six (6) months from the date on which the official results are published to collect their prizes.
- As per provisions of the GRA Act, past the deadline to claim the prizes, unclaimed prizes will be remitted to the National Solidarity Fund.
- The accountability and liability of Ascencia will be limited to the designation of the winners of the lottery and the distribution of the prizes to the designated winners, in accordance with these terms and conditions. Ascencia shall have no other liability whatsoever towards participants or winners, including loss of opportunity to participate in the lottery and/or the right to receive any prize.
- Ascencia will have the right to use the winner’s name and photo for promotional and marketing purposes in relation to the lottery on its chosen media platforms, including Facebook pages of Phoenix Malls, for a period of one (1) year, without having the right to claim any sort of compensation of any nature provided that such use shall only occur upon obtaining the winner's approval or consent.
- Participants in the lottery agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, the provisions of the GRA Act and any applicable regulations made under it from time to time.
