'Le Marché de So’flo' Returns: Local Edition Celebrating Mauritian Talent
If you love slow weekends, friendly makers and things crafted with care, mark your diary. So’flo Market, better known as Le Marché de So’flo, returns on the last weekend of August with its Local Edition, a weekend where quality, creativity and community come together.
What is Le Marché de So’flo?
Each month, So’flo hosts a themed market on the first floor. Previous editions have explored themes like organic living, nature, artisanal work, and others. Regulars come for the warm atmosphere and the chance to meet the people behind the products. First-timers usually leave with a story to tell and a full bag of good finds.
This month’s theme: Local
This Local Edition is a love letter to Mauritian craftsmanship. It’s about the hands that sketch, weave, pour, grow and shape. We’re spotlighting makers who keep local know-how alive, from family workshops to young studios with fresh ideas. Expect thoughtful design, friendly chats and the pride that comes from creating something honest and well-made. By showing up, you’re supporting skills, stories and small businesses rooted right here.
Le Marché de So’flo runs on Saturday 30 August, 09:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 31 August, 09:00 to 14:00, on the first floor of So’flo.
What you’ll find
Each edition brings a fresh mix. One month you’ll meet small brands and independent makers; another you’ll find growers, food stalls, wellness picks, and smart ideas for home and daily life. As you wander, expect useful essentials, easy gifts, and a few treats just for you. The curation changes, the quality stays steady, with people who know their craft and care about what they bring.
