The implementation of sanitary measures has been critical for public spaces like Malls. We have therefore been guided by a doctor to set up a full protocol with the objective to sanitize all the areas of our buildings including the shop’s interiors. Our priority remains the safety of all our teams, partners and visitors. We work for them and with them. To have impactful results, we have therefore guided our tenants in the setting up of their sanitary plans and will continue to provide support to them to ensure the safety of all our stakeholders.
The #SafeShopping journey:
Entrance: Initial screening by a thermal camera, which will detect if people coming in the Malls are wearing masks. Those with a higher temperature than 37.5 and not wearing a mask will be prohibited from accessing the mall.
Wearing of masks will be compulsory at all times inside the mall, except while eating in the food court or restaurants. Masks will be available at the entrances and will be sold at cost price.
Disinfection will be carried in the whole mall, technical areas & stores on a daily basis.
Hand sanitisers are installed at regular intervals in the mall (about every 40m)
Signage in the mall to remind people about the sanitary measures to be observed.
Floor marking are provided where there is usually queues: food court and toilet areas. Each centre management team will continue to work with tenants to ensure the best possible layout and procedure are put in place.
